About CityBus
CityBus is the operating name for Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (GLPTC), a municipal corporation established in 1971. How is CityBus Funded?
CityBus receives federal, state, and local tax monies in addition to program revenues (earnings from fares, pass and token sales, contracts, advertising sales, etc.). The local taxing district includes the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette, and suburban areas in Tippecanoe County. See a PDF Format Map of CityBus's Taxing District.
