Want to know when the next bus is departing from your stop? In real time? MyRide helps riders manage their trips on CityBus. The system estimates the time the next bus will depart from any bus stop--on campus or in the cities of Lafayette or West Lafayette--based on the actual location of the bus using GPS. MyRide users can access the information in a number of convenient ways.

Wayside: Electronic Signage at the Bus Stop
Some bus stops are equipped with electronic signs that display next bus departure times, called Wayside signs. (Examples are at Beering Hall on University St., Wabash Landing on Brown St., and in the shelters at Riehle Plaza in downtown Lafayette.)
Users Please Note: CityBus's "real-time" passenger information makes estimations of departure times based upon the location of the bus. It is important for passengers to understand that times are estimates only, and that many factors such as traffic, stop lights, and other conditions can affect the actual arrival time of the bus.
