Lost and Found
CityBus maintains a Lost and Found Office at our administrative offices at 1250 Canal Rd. Items may be reclaimed in person at this office Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Found items are stored for two weeks before they are discarded or donated to local charities. You may reach this office by calling (765) 423-2666 during hours of operation.
It is important for riders to understand that CityBus is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please be sure to take all of your belongings with you when you exit the bus or any CityBus facility.
Lost Something? Here's What To Do.
For safety reasons and for the convenience of other passengers, CityBus cannot disrupt service to search for lost items, no matter how valuable the item. Throughout the day, bus operators check the bus for items left behind, and passengers frequently give items they find on the bus to the driver. These items are turned into the Lost and Found Office at the end of the day.
If you've lost something, here is what you can do:
1) Board the bus again and ask the driver if the item has been found, or ask for permission to search the bus yourself. The driver will not allow you disrupt service, so the bus may need to continue on route while you search. Please do not call the office with the expectation that our dispatcher or other staff will be able to contact the driver to assist you with finding your item. We can assist you with finding the bus you are looking for, however; knowing the number of the bus, or route, time, and locaton will help.
2) Call the Lost and Found Office the next day or within two weeks at (765) 423-2666. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. We'll let you know if we have your item. Again, please understand that CityBus is not responsible for items left on the bus.
