Want to know when the next bus is departing from your stop? In real time? MyRideWAPestimates the time the next bus will depart from any bus stop--on campus or in the cities of Lafayette or West Lafayette--based on the actual location of the bus using GPS.
MyRideWAP (Wireless Application Protocol) shows you next bus departure times using your web-enabled mobile device, such as a mobile phone or PDA. Next time you are waiting for a bus and wondering where the bus is, use MyRideWAP and you'll know exactly how long your wait will be.
How to Use It
- Open your PDA or mobile phone's web browser
- Navigate to: http://wap.gocitybus.com
- Begin searching for your route by either using the address, street intersection or landmark.
- Select your stop from the list.
- View the departure times for incoming bus routes.
Costs?
There is no cost from CityBus to use MyRideWAP. However, if you use web access on your mobile phone or PDA, you may incur air time charges from your cell service provider. Please contact your cell phone provider to verify your account packages.
